In Philosophy, Monad, (from the Greek, Μονάς, "unit" from μόνος, "alone"),
is a term describing
the first being in existence, or the totality of all beings.
In Music, a Monad is one note. Without it there would be no scales.
In Astronomy, a singularity, a single point without division or a Monad,
was the beginning of the universe, 13.7 billion years ago.
In the Metaphysics of "La Monadologie" by Gottfried Leibniz, a Monad is
the center of force, indecomposable, individual, subject to its own laws,
it reflects the whole universe as the ultimate element.
Likewise, Monad Pictures was born in the mind of George Sardis, as a conceptual, cinematic unit, with aspiration of becoming a meeting point of like-minded individuals, with the purpose of collaborated creation of films and music promos, with the human condition as the center of this force.
